The Committee members scrutinized two Bills: on Amendments to the Law "On Promotion of Regional Development" (re Extension of Groups of Depression Territories, and rendering of such a Status) (Reg. No.3567), and on Amendments to the Law "On Promotion of Regional Development" (re Monitoring) (Reg. No.3567-1).
According to the Committee members, "the Bills enhance methodical base of recognizing the territories as depression ones and rendering of a relevant status to the territories that will be able to obtain governmental aid for the socio-economic development and overcoming of depression conditions".
The Committee recommends that The Verkhovna Rada adopts the said Bills as a Basis and unites them in one Bill in the process of elaboration for the second reading.
